My name is Curt Morrison. I founded Morrison Asset Management, LLC to provide investment management services tailored to meet the specific needs of individual clients. When you hire Morrison Asset Management, you hire me; my analysis, my judgment, and my integrity.
I am a professional investor, and I measure my success by the risk-adjusted, real returns that my clients earn over the long term. At the beginning of every relationship, I learn each client's goals, risk tolerance, investment horizon, liquidity requirements, tax considerations, investing constraints, and any unique circumstances. I then manage the account with these characteristics in mind, and send a performance report every quarter.
Client assets are separately managed in segregated accounts, and every client has direct access to me. I enjoy talking with clients, and I will encourage you to call me whenever you have questions or concerns. I will be available to review your portfolio with you at any time upon request.
All assets are held at an independent custodian such as Charles Schwab Institutional, which sends monthly account statements directly to clients while providing continuous access to the account via the internet. I do not take possession of client assets, and clients can withdraw funds at any time by contacting the custodian directly.
I manage my clients' investments in the same way that I would manage my own, given the same goals, risk tolerance, and financial position. I manage clients' assets to serve their best interests. That is my pledge to you, but it is also the law. Morrison Asset Management, LLC is a Registered Investment Advisor. As such, I have a fiduciary responsibility to my clients.
I am compensated by a fee based on a percentage of assets under management. I do not earn commissions, and I don't sell annuities or insurance or any other products. I am passionate about investing, and that is all that I do. I am not a broker, salesman, relationship manager, or financial planner.
To help you evaluate me, I've posted information about my credentials, experience, and investment philosophy on this website. To illustrate my investment philosophy in practice, I've posted summaries and links to articles that I published for Morningstar back in 2004. In those articles, I explained that the S&P 500 was egregiously overvalued and thus offered poor long-term returns. You'll gain insight into my approach by reading them. Additionally, I've provided answers to frequently asked questions on a separate FAQ page.

Curt Morrison, MD, FACC, CFA
